Beyond the picture’s borders is the thankfulness of little Joseph’s mother and family for the free care he received from CSDON. It seemed like a miracle when she heard about our outreach. Finally, her plea for the financial means to pay for her son’s required hernia surgery has now come true; she is ecstatic that Joseph was able to have the procedure for free, especially in light of the current state of the economy, where it is already difficult to meet basic needs like food and water. However, we are grateful for the numerous physicians from the World Health Foundation who worked with us and shared their expertise in order to help families like Joseph’s regain happiness and health.
